VisitBritain and STA Terms and Conditions competition:

  1. The promoters are VisitBritain and STA Travel.
  2. No purchase necessary. To enter, simply complete and submit the online entry form.
  3. Only one entry per person or e-mail address. Duplicate, incomplete or entries submitted by third parties or agents for a fee will not be accepted.
  4. Entrants must be 18 years or over and be legally resident in the country they are in at the time of submitting their entries or possess a legally valid passport, visa or permit to be in such country at such time.
  5. Employees of Visit Britain, STA and their respective families, their agents or anyone professionally connected with this promotion, are not allowed to enter.
  6. The closing date for entries is 31 March 2010 closing at 12 midnight GMT on that date.
  7. The judges' decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  8. There will be 2 prizes on offer to 2 individual winners. This prize consists of a return air ticket and an on ground component; and is valid for prize winner only.
    The top prize includes:
    • Return economy flights to Britain (Flight to Britain is based on pre-determined itinerary and VisitBritain reserves the right to change itinerary)
    • 15 day Top Deck tour courtesy of STA (tour leaves on specified date, winner must select tour date based on schedule)
    • 14 nights accommodation courtesy of STA
    The consolation prize includes:
    • Return economy flights to Britain (Flight to Britain is based on pre-determined itinerary and VisitBritain reserves the right to change itinerary)
    • 1 London sightseeing pass
    • 2 nights accommodation courtesy of STA
  9. The prizes are as stated above and is not transferable. Substitutions for the prizes or cash equivalents are not permitted.
  10. Original Letter must be presented when you claim your prize.
  11. This voucher is valid till 30 April 2010 and will be void if not redeemed by 30 April 2010.
  12. Prize winner has to travel by 30 June 2010.
  13. Travel arrangements are subject to availability at time of booking. Bookings must be made at least 1 month before planned departure date.
  14. Flights may not be direct/non-stop. STA Travel will select the most appropriate airline and routing for the dates requested.
  15. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the promoters reserve the right to offer alternative prizes of equal or greater value.
  16. The prize-winners must accept that their names may be announced in any VisitBritain publication or any publication of the Campaign Partners, including online publications, for publicity purposes. They must also accept that they may be photographed and their photographs published in the aforesaid publication(s) for publicity purposes. The winners will also be required to participate in a travel blogging activity about their travel and experience.
  17. By entering this promotion, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions.
  18. The data you have provided will be used by VisitBritain. Entrants will also become members of VisitBritain’s Britain Club. Entrants may choose to opt-out of this membership at any time.
  19. The data you have provided will be used by STA. Entrants will also become members of STA’s e-newsletter. Entrants may choose to opt-out of this e-newsletter at any time.
  20. The promoters will not be held responsible for loss or corruption of data in transit.
  21. This promotion is governed by English Law.
